GPSC signs six solar power contracts for delivery in 2028 and 2030

GPSC has signed power purchase agreements for six ground-mounted solar projects with the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand and the Provincial Electricity Authority, with scheduled commercial operation in 2028 and 2030.
The contracts represent 105 MW of capacity attributable to GPSC’s ownership, the company announced on 17 September. The projects were selected under Thailand’s feed-in-tariff programme for renewable generators without fuel costs.
Four projects are scheduled to start supplying electricity in 2028. GPSC lists Helios 1 at 24 MW, Helios 2 at 31 MW and IRPC Clean Power’s Nathap Solar Project 1 at 38 MW for EGAT, alongside a separate 4 MW Helios 2 project for PEA.
Two further projects, Helios 3 and Helios 1, each listed at 4 MW, are scheduled to supply PEA in 2030.
The agreements establish contracted delivery dates for the six projects as GPSC expands its renewable portfolio. The company said the developments support its goal of increasing clean energy to more than half of its generation capacity.
